Returns and refunds

If you chose a wrong size or experienced any manufacturing defects in your shoes, you may return unworn merchandise at any Best Brands store, with the original sale receipt in mint condition, within 30 days of purchase. Please note, defective or damaged merchandise can only be returned if it’s unworn. Exchanges are available in-store only.

To Make a Return at Any Store

Please bring...

  1. The item to be returned. Item(s) must be returned in the original brand box (packaging).
  2. The original receipt, original packing receipt, or a copy of your Confirmation Email.
  3. One form of personal identification and the credit card used for the original purchase.

Also, please note:

  1. If the customer choose to pick the package in a store, they may return them in that same store or any other.
  2. If the customer chose another delivery address using Correos de Costa Rica, they may return the product in any Best Brands store, as well.
  3. The customer may replace the product for:

The same model in a different size (in case it is still available).

A different model with the same price.

A different model with a higher price (in which case the customer will pay the difference).

Best Brands won’t return the money if the customer chose a different model of a lower price than the original

If the customer chose to replace it with an item of, the store will have 8 days to make the new delivery.

To Make a Return through Correos de Costa Rica

  2. Box up the item with all original packing. Item(s) must be returned in the original brand box (packaging).

To Make a Return due to Manufacturing defects

This can only be done at any of our physical stores. Our store administrator will evaluate the item and decide if it qualifies for a return or replacement.

Best Brands will have up to 30 days to give an answer on regards of each case.


 If the bank charged a customer more than once for their purchase in our store, please:

  2. Send an email at with the following:
  3. Full name and copy of ID
  4. Customer account and bank

Best Brands will have up to 8 days to ask the bank to make the refund. The time it’s made effective depends on each bank.
